Hi, I am a Industrial designer who uses Figma for various applications, and have recently transitioned to Rayon design. Here are some features from the Figma that I believe would be really intuitive for Rayon.
Option key for measuring distances:
When you hold down the Option (Alt) key in Figma and hover over or select an object, you’ll see red measurement lines that display the exact distance between that object and nearby elements or the frame’s edges. I think this is a useful feature when placing furniture in floor plan so that you can quickly see the spacing between them.
Precise Spacing for Objects
Rayon already has the feature to distribute objects vertically or horizontally, but Figma has the option to set the exact spacing between multiple objects. I think this feature is really useful when you want to precisely and evenly space objects in a floor plan, like placing multiple dining chairs in a row, or when drawing anything repetitive that needs even spacing.
