How to draw shadows in Rayon

Drawing shadows is a manual process in Rayon, and we are about to show you how to do it in a few simple steps. Keep in mind that these shadows do not represent the actual solar path.

Shadows from a Wall:

1. Create an Angle: Begin by drawing a line at a 45-degree angle. Place this line on a new layer above all other layers and change its color to a bright hue.

2. Duplicate Lines: Copy the angled line and place it in every corner of your floor plan.

3. Create a Shadows Layer: Add a new layer and name it "Shadows," then make it the active layer.

4. Create a Shadow Style: Create a new style for your shadows with a grey fill and set the opacity to 20%.

5. Draw the First Shadow: Start by creating a shape over the lines you drew earlier. When finish delete the colorful lines.

Shadows from Furniture:

1. Click on the furniture block and select "Edit."

2. Select the border line of the block and duplicate it. Change the line style to "Shadows."

3. Arrange this duplicated line by right-clicking and selecting "Send to Back" of the layer. Move the shadow slightly to align with your other shadows.

4. Repeat this process for all other furniture blocks.

By following these steps, you can effectively create realistic-looking shadows in your drawings.
